The list represents a comprehensive look at an important segment of the economy—America’s independent entrepreneurs. According to Inc., the companies on this list have created 350,000 jobs in the past three years. Aggregate revenue reached $366 billion, up 14% from last year.

Connolly Declares Green Day

Wilton Y Computer Lab Dedication

The Wilton Family Y now has a dedicated computer room for children in its afterschool Neighborhood Club program as a result of the donation of refurbished laptop computers from the Wilton office of Connolly, Inc., a recovery audit firm. A ribbon cutting was held on May 25 and was attended by Connolly CEO Larry Connolly, COO Libby Alexander, and Executive Vice President Robert Alexander , along with Y staff and Board members. The donation is part of Connolly’s philanthropic endeavors to give back to the local community through their Wilton based Employee Activity Committee.

Connolly Participates in Red Cross Veterans Campaign

Connolly, the largest privately held recovery audit firm in the world, participated in the American Red Cross’s “Thank You Cards for Veterans” campaign. On Thursday, May 5, the nearly 200 employees of the firm’s Audit Support Center in Wilton, CT queued up to sign cards with personal messages thanking veterans for their service. All of the personalized cards were delivered to veterans hospitals on Armed Forces Day, May 21.

Connolly Employees and Owners Donate More than $30K to Japan’s Relief Efforts
April 28, 2011
Connolly employees and the company’s owners donated more than $30,600 to ease the suffering caused by the March 11 earthquake in Japan. Connolly offered a way for employees to pool contributions and set a goal of $3,000 to be raised over ten days. Donations by employees totaled $15,321 instead which was matched by Connolly’s owners. Connolly selected the American Red Cross as conduit for the funds, and they gratefully accepted the donation on April 25, 2011. “This is a beautiful donation,” said David Wolff, Chief Development Officer of the Connecticut Chapter. “We want you to know that 100% of the funds will go directly to relief in Japan.”

Connolly Named to Connecticut Governor’s Prevention Partnership Honor Roll

Connolly was awarded a place on the honor roll of the Connecticut 2010 Governor’s Prevention Partnership as a result of the efforts of five Connolly employees. George Marrazzo, Director of Data Services; Jason Lee, Manager, Data Services; Stephanie Schwartz, HR Generalist I; Mike Spellman, Business Systems Analyst; and Christina Askenback, Data Center Coordinator provide volunteer mentoring to students in Norwalk through the Norwalk Mentor Program. Mike Spellman’s wife, Alex, also participates. Mentors choose a student from any grade, kindergarten to twelfth, from one of 19 public Norwalk schools. The mentors spend an hour a week with their assigned charges, playing games, listening to them, or engaging in structured activities. Mentees are identified by their school social workers as being in need of extra help due to self esteem and other issues. The Norwalk Mentor Program recently celebrated “25 Years of Changing Lives” with a celebration at Stepping Stones Children’s Museum which drew more than 400 people.

Attended by Connolly Healthcare clients and prospects representing more than a dozen health plans and payers from around the country, the Summit agenda included presentations from healthcare industry analysts and Connolly experts who provided insight into the future of healthcare insurance and managed care.
